Amanda + Tom | Fellows Riverside Garden | Youngstown Ohio Wedding Photographer

Amanda + Tom’s wedding was an awesome day. The weather was beyond perfect and the tempo of the day just flowed. They are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met…so caring and thoughtful. My assistant and I had a great time with everyone involved. Many people were there as they said their vows and the reception was full to the max with people they love. We were able (and survived) to take pictures at Fellows Riverside Gardens. The light was beautiful and I’m so glad that our group was fun and cheerful. It was so crowded that day and the last thing I wanted was for the bride to be stressed. But Amanda (and everyone) was a champ and flawlessly graced my camera. Even the flower girls did an amazing job!
I can’t forget to mention that the ever adorable Lulu made another appearance and I was completely ok with it! She is a cutie and obviously loves her parents!!
There was lots of great food (and an amazingly awesome cookie table!!!) followed by great entertainment (polka songs for the win) and an overall great night. Amanda + Tom, you were so wonderful to work with and I’m excited for you as you begin this new journey together! Congrats!

Chelsea + Charlie | Highland Meadows Farm | Youngstown Ohio Wedding Photographer

A country barn wedding at it’s finest!! I loved this day! The setting was beautiful and every single part of Highland Meadows Farm was gorgeous. Chelsea + Charlie’s ceremony was tucked in the woods with a cool breeze and lots of smiles. Too many cute and memorable things happened to type out. My favorite had to be when Chelsea’s dad whipped out his flask for them to share before walking down the aisle to Charlie. Later we found out that Chelsea had no idea that was happening. It was an adorable Father/Daughter moment.
The barn was decorated beautifully and I enjoyed capturing every single detail. We were able to take pictures in the stalls where they keep the horses as well as around the property in the field. It was a hot day but that didn’t stop the bride & groom from throwing a fantastic party. Lots of dancing and laughter, great conversation outside, corn hole, horse shoe, BBQ (amazing, I might add), and celebration.
If you’re looking for a unique all-in-one venue or even a great BBQ caterer then look no further because Highland Meadows Farm and Eddy’s Smokin’ Pit BBQ were amazing! I cannot say enough great things!
Congrats Mr & Mrs Lengyel! It was so fun to be a part of your day and capture your union.

Trisha + Jake | Berkshire Hills Golf Course | Youngstown Ohio Wedding Photographer

Oh this day! Trisha + Jake… what gems. This is how September weddings are supposed to be. Cooler with warm sunshine peeking through. Berkshire is literally an amazing venue. I cannot say enough good things. And not only because it’s beautiful and conveniently all in one, but because the owner Walt, who runs the place is seriously THE BEST. He is the sweetest man and bends over backwards for his clients. There are so many great places for pictures and this is one of the reasons Trish picked Berkshire. We spent so much time on bridal portraits that it made my heart sing. They were such troopers as we took so many shots at so many different spots.
I’m in love with all of Trish’s details including her color choices. Her flowers from Curious Floral just POP. Seriously. They are wooden and will last forever! Trish also had Harry Potter sprinkled throughout the day which was awesome. And I can’t forget their love for German shorthair pointers! Dogs are the best 🙂 Jake even had dogs on his socks!!
I’ve known Trish for a long time and some of you may see her helping me at a wedding or two this year. She is so fun to be around and I’m so thankful she’s back in my life. We shared many classes together in high school including Art. I have always admired her artistic abilities and now we share photography as one of those. If you know Trish, you know that she deeply cares about the people she loves and surrounds herself with. She keeps me on my toes at weddings, challenges me and is refreshingly creative when it comes to photos. Sometimes as a wedding photographer, you get into a lull and it’s hard to be creative when weddings are all different but the same. If that makes sense. So it’s good to have her around to help me when I’m stuck.
Trish + Jake, congrats on the nuptials. I’m so happy for you and can’t wait to see and hear the new adventures you’ll accomplish as Mr and Mrs!!

Elizabeth + Brian | The Westin Cleveland | Youngstown Ohio Wedding Photographer

I love Cleveland weddings! This one just had all the charm and class, so elegant but personal touches everywhere. Elizabeth + Brian are so sweet and it was so fun to capture them together as well as with their family and friends. I love it when the weather is picture perfect too! We visited the North Chagrin Reservation for some beautiful woodsy photos and then ended the afternoon at the Rock Hall and pier. Seriously, so fun! I’d like to personally thank all of the people who cleared out of the way for the Rock Hall picture. I didn’t have to yell at anyone to move, it was like the Red Sea parting. People just understood that the bride and groom wanted a picture free of tourists. You’ll know what I mean when you see it below.
The Westin downtown is absolutely stunning and the food was even more incredible. I made sure to brag about it to my husband when I got home. And can we just talk about how amazing Elizabeth’s dress is?! The faint color of it was just to die for and looked perfect with her skin tone. I loved it. My assistant got some excellent shots of Brian at the hotel too. Brian is so good at the stoic window shots.

Amanda + Tom | Fellows Rose Gardens | Youngstown Ohio Wedding Photographer

Has anyone else loved this weather recently? Goodness, Saturday was awesome! I ended the day with Amanda + Tom out at the Fellows Rose Gardens in the fabulous Mill Creek Park. I love how it changes every time I go. Mad props to the people who do the gardening there. Always looks awesome!

Amanda + Tom brought their adorable pup, Lulu with them for a few pics. She is so cute and sweet!! Glad she cooperated 🙂

The roses were amazing at the gardens and if you haven’t been for a visit recently, now is the time to go. The roses are in full bloom and so gorgeous. I also had fun with all of the textures and colors that the park has to offer. Can’t go wrong with the huge drapery like tree in the center of the garden. And whatever version of daisys those are…I’m in love.

But enough about flowers, I really loved getting to know these two. They were instantly friendly, caught me on the side of the road taking flower pics before they got there haha, and made for a fun evening. I can’t wait for their wedding!! Which will be here soon – September ahhhh! Where did the summer go?!
