Uniting families together has so much meaning on a wedding day. Blending different upbringings and traditions, its what makes different generations unique. Special is just one word to describe it.

What a way to end my June weddings of 2018!! Abby + Matt’s wedding was a fantastic celebration and it was so so so fun to be there. They are both such sweet people and we loved capturing their affection. It was a big wedding too which just adds to the fun. I knew many people there because Abby + Matt both go to Old North Church. So it was also fun for me to photograph in my own church again.

We did a first look to start off the day and I’m so glad we did. It alleviated some time for portraits and made the in between portrait time less stressful after the ceremony. We had lots to get done so it worked out great! Matt – you are precious!! I loved watching you love on Abby all day. It was so sweet and so special!

We did portraits at the Lily Pond in Mill Creek Park as well as this cool place along West Drive called The Wall Garden. I’ve never done portraits there before but I love them! It was a unique spot and bonus, it was in the shade! It was a super hot wedding but the entire bridal party did so well and made the whole experience enjoyable. Real friends stand in 90 degree weather and humidity in a full suit and smile for pictures. Thanks guys!

We ended the night at the Metroplex in Girard Ohio. Wow – it was enormous! Personal touches everywhere including the cake made by a friend, wedding pictures from their parents’ special days, engagement pictures printed & hung to hide quirky venue decor, giant cookie table…it was awesome. I loved hearing the toasts and watching all the Grove City grads fill up the dance floor.

Congrats Mr & Mrs Osiniak!! I’m so happy for you! May the Lord bless you as you begin this new chapter together! XOXO
