A final wedding blog from 2019, Hillary and Jon’s wonderful wedding was my only October wedding. Their day did not disappoint and every, single detail was awesome. Their bridal portraits at Sugar Pines Tree Farm were amazing and so unique!!! It was a last minute decision to go there and I cannot say enough great things about Sugar Pines. They are wonderful people with a beautiful farm. The bride and groom left plenty of time in between the ceremony and reception for me and my team to get creatively, unique photos that they will have forever.
Their reception was held at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course. It is one of my favorite venues, for many reasons, but a big one is the views. The color from the trees, the huge white barn, and where the sun sets are all just wonderful reasons to love Fowler’s.
A favorite part of Hillary and Jon’s day was when I was at her parent’s house with the girls getting ready. Her sister Courtney and BIL Nolan, have a cutie patootie daughter named Isla who was at the house. At one point, Hillary and her dad were trying to dress Isla, including trying to get tights on her haha! I’m so glad I was standing there to grab a few pics. Jumping up and down certainly helps baby tights go on easier right?? But what followed was a bit of spit up on dad’s jacket. Oops!
I can recall several more favorite moments from their wedding day including the ring/vow exchange during the ceremony, the bridal party intro at the reception (which includes a beverage shower), epic photo locations with vibrant fall colors in the background, and a recreation of an old photo of Hillary’s parents on the golf course during their own wedding. Sweet memories!
Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Hart!!
