Nolan’s 6 month pictures were quick, easy and simple. I remember with Gwen I had much more planned out and themes and multiple outfits…second kid…I’m happy with a genuine smile and good lighting ha!

I have loved these last few months as Nolan’s personality has evolved. He is such a happy baby and all about being in mama’s arms. I waited to do his 6 month pictures a little later in the month so that he could sit up confidently. But he loves sitting in the bumbo and banging toys on the counter. He also loves to grab my face, gnaw on my chin, and pull my hair. No teeth yet and no interest in baby food – which I’m totally ok with.

I love our mornings together before Gwen gets up. I love that he nurses with one finger in his mouth. I love how ticklish he is on his back. I love how cute he looks with his amber necklace on. So many things I love at this stage.

I’ve cut his hair 3 times already. It still has a tendency to stick up on its own but I can’t believe how much its grown! He’s gonna be a blondie just like Gwen. The two of them together is so special to witness. It is such a unique bond and I’m so grateful they have each other. Gwen has learned a lot this year and she’s definitely grown fond of Nolan and the attention he gives her.

For those wondering, we went to Pioneer Pavilion for these pictures. It is really a unique spot in Mill Creek Park. I did the dark portraits in my basement with a simple Icelight setup.
