July weddings always are hot hot hot! Scott and I got married in July and I’m pretty sure we picked the hottest day of the year. So of course we got pictures at the beach in full formal attire….so smart! But we love the pictures so it was worth it. Courtney + Jerry’s day was actually very pleasant. Not too hot or humid, but we did have a bit of rain. Luckily we were safe under the gazebo at the Rose Gardens. We camped out there for a bit until it stopped. The limo driver was amazing and had umbrellas for everyone so getting pictures in the rain became possible! Some of my favorites from this day are the rainy ones!!!
The reception was absolutely stunning! So stunning that both Courtney and Jerry got all teary about how amazing it looked. You could definitely tell Courtney put a ton of work into making their reception hall look beautiful. Everything about it was awesome, from the succulents in the floral arrangements, to the beautiful textured table linens.
I couldn’t resist their chocolate buffet either! All sorts of yummy chocolates and a box to take some home. Is there anything better?!
I convinced the newlyweds to do a few pictures out by the lake at Drake’s Landing and I’m so glad they agreed. The sun went behind the clouds for a few minutes and it gave the water a beautiful blue and purple cotton candy reflection. I couldn’t have asked for better timing.

I just wanted to tell you how beautiful the pictures are and what a wonderful job you did.
I have never seen anything more beautiful. The backround at drakes landing are stunning.
The pictures at the park with the umbrella’s are cute…LOL.
I would highly recommend you to anyone.
